LinkPool is thrilled to announce our support for DIN, the Decentralized Infrastructure Network, in its mission to provide an open-source, publicly verifiable, and highly decentralized RPC network. By leveraging our years of experience in providing mission-critical infrastructure for Web3, and our unique architecture of a self-managed Kubernetes cluster deployed across our own hardware distributed across multiple datacenters, we’re bringing battle-tested skills and infrastructure that meaningfully enhances the decentralization of DIN.

DIN is a collaborative network, not a replacement for existing Centralized or Decentralized RPC solutions. It aims to enhance the end user’s experience by providing access to as many networks as possible across multiple regions. DIN is both a monumental effort to construct and a massive leap forward for the blockchain industry, and we’re proud to help drive it forward.

“LinkPool’s technical expertise, love for community building, and commitment to decentralization are all reasons why I’m excited to work with them to progressively decentralize the RPC layer.” — Tom Hay, Lead Product Manager, Consensys

Decentralization of every element of the blockchain infrastructure stack is mission-critical, full stop. If the interface between the end user and the chain is not highly available and censorship resistant, it doesn’t matter how reliable a validator set is, because average non-technical users simply can’t interface with the chain. The early version of DIN will be federated through the contributions of Infura’s initial partners. DIN hopes to progressively move towards decentralization in later phases, starting as soon as next year.

“We’re proud to be in the first cohort of infrastructure providers supporting DIN in making Web3 more decentralized, durable, and accessible.” — Jonny Huxtable, Founder of LinkPool

About LinkPool

LinkPool is a battle-tested team of Web3 experts. From bootstrapping the Chainlink network in 2019 to onboarding household names like The AP, AccuWeather, and LexisNexis, LinkPool has been at the forefront of the blockchain industry’s early growth. Additionally, LinkPool founded stake.link, bringing together fifteen leading Chainlink node operators to deliver the first-of-its-kind liquid, delegated staking protocol for Chainlink Staking.

About DIN

Infura’s Decentralized Infrastructure Network (DIN) is a decentralized RPC-as-a-service that provides developers with highly-available, reliable, and performant blockchain infrastructure via existing endpoints. DIN empowers developers to build more robust and scalable applications. Apply to join DIN!
